This is me, early Sunday morning at the Wild Roses Festival, joy-filled, exhausted, and utterly content.
The photographer asked me to think about my experience from the festival, and this is the image that she captured...
Inside, I remembered the road that led me here: six months of work, one lost friendship, and my own spiritual transformation. Then, I flipped through the rolodex of people, places, and experiences that I had on the journey to, and during the festival. I thought of my traveling companions: Kate, Danielle, Taylor, and Christie. I thought of my extended Manitoba community, who were present. Then I thought of every woman that I met over the course of the weekend…, and my heart overflowed with gratitude.
This festival served as the end of an era and the dawn of a new day.
Since returning home, I have decided to take a few weeks away from work and retreat into nature in order to let down, assimilate, and allow new inspirations to bubble forth.
🙏Thank you to everyone who chose to buy my jewelry. Seeing you throughout the weekend wearing your new gemstones, leather and feathers warmed my heart.
🙏Thank you to the Wild Roses Festival for hosting such an epic event. I am already looking forward to next year✨️.
🙏Thank you to all the women who simply shared a smile with me while passing by.
🙏And, thank you to my traveling companions who taught me so much about life, love, and saying ‘yes’ to new experiences🙌.
🌈Big Love,
Corey
