This piece reminds me of the sun - the daytime luminary - The Greater Light
 
On the fourth day, God made the luminaries and placed them in the heavens: the sun, moon, and stars. The greater light, the sun, rules over the daytime illuminating God's great creation, bringing light, warmth, and hope to the world. The sun's light helps to sustain life and its course over the earth plane is responsible for the changing seasons (the yearly cycle of life).
 
I have been a sungazer since 2005 and have an intimate relationship with the sun. Every day, just before the sunset, I head outdoors to get the sun's luminous golden light directly into my eyeballs. I refer to this time as my 'daily download'.  When the light begins to penetrate my eyes, there seems to be a collective sigh from every cell of my being, my body relaxes, and my breath naturally deepens. In these special moments, I feel at peace with myself and with the world.
